INTRODUCTION
Solid electrolyte, as the fundamental difference between all solid state lithium-ion batteries and traditional liquid batteries, is the key to achieving stable energy transfer in all solid state batteries and the cornerstone for the commercialization of all solid state batteries. Solid electrolyte (SSE) is a type of solid ion conductor electrolyte that can be used in energy storage (EES) as a substitute for liquid electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries. The main advantages are increased safety, no toxic organic liquid leakage, low flammability, non volatility, mechanical and thermal stability, ease of processing, low self discharge rate, and achievable higher power density and recyclability.
Compared with other solid electrolytes, lithium aluminum titanium phosphate (LATP) has good chemical stability, especially high voltage stability and chemical stability in air, and its ion conductivity can also be at a practical level. Currently, by doping with appropriate elements, it can achieve 1.0*10-3S·m-1; It has great application prospects in electrode surface coating, ion conductive agents, composite electrolyte films, and membrane coating.
